Week 5

 Welcome back to our blog! This week we went through Design for Materials, where we take a look on using materials to better our chemical product's design.

We practiced replacing a material of a design to amplify its effects without much changes to the design. Another practice was working a product design around a single material to make it way better in effectiveness! 

For this activity, we used REALLY, an interesting textile composite that has made its ranks around sustainable building. We believe its applications could go way further than that, as shown in this table:

Through this, we hope to make use of this knowledge to possibly scout for newfound materials that could be more effective than terracotta in terms of its moisture absorption and work around them!
